Do you have an interest in moving goods by rail and enjoy working outdoors with like-minded individuals, please consider volunteering with us.
We meet once a fortnight on alternating Saturdays & Sundays (occasionally adjusted), working on the fleet or wagon-related infrastructure. We also organise freight events at the NVR, our popular freight driving experiences as well as photo charters.
If you wish to get involved and help us keep freight active at the NVR. The only requirement is that you become a Member of the Nene Valley Railway after which you should contact the Volunteer Liaison Group to become a working member.
